YADADRI TEMPLE

Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple or Yadagirigutta is a popular Hindu Temple devoted to Lord Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is situated over a hillock in the Yadadri district, Telangana at a distance of 6 km from Riagir Railway station, 13 km from our Farm and around 60 kilometers from the capital city of Hyderabad.

Yadagirigutta is a unique and pleasant hillock that enjoys moderate climate in all seasons. The place witnesses a heavy rush of devotees, not less than 50000 pilgrims on average each day for offering their vows, performing pujas, kalyanam, abhisekam etc. while the crowd grows substantially during weekends, holidays and festivals.

KONDAPOCHAMMA
RESERVOIR

Kondapochamma Sagar Reservoir and Hyderabadi’s got their days back to pose and weekend getaway. The place under the clouds, peace is all you see around. Yes, it is Kondapochamma Sagar Reservoir just 50km away from Hyderabad is a trending getaway right now. This reservoir is a part of the Kaleshwaram project inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao recently.

Kondapochamma Sagar Reservoir has a capacity to hold 15 TMC. The project cost about 1,668.55 crores and covers an area of 17.027 square km. It has a depth of 618m and is expected to provide water for 2 lakh acres for irrigation through 13 canals.

KOLANUPAKA

Telangana is a land where many religions have flourished since ages, and one of them is Jainism. If you wish to explore the splendor of Jain heritage, then do not miss visiting the Mahavira Temple. Located close to Aler town, the two thousand year old temple houses three idols of gods, namely Lord Rishabhanatha, Lord Neminatha, and Lord Mahavira. The image of Lord Rishabhanatha, carved of a rare jade (green stone) has been historically famous as "Manikyaswami”.

Kolanupaka is considered an important place of worship for Jains in the country. Kolanupaka Temple, also known as Kulpakji is a historic Jain temple situated in the village of Kolanupaka in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana, India. Kolanupaka was known by different names in the past like Bimbavatipuram, Kottiyapaka, Kollihaka, Kollipaka and Kolanpak.

Wargal Saraswati Temple

The word ‘akshara abhyasam’ comes to mind when the thought of Saraswati Temple comes to mind. Saraswati is the deity when it comes to Vidyarambham, a traditional religious function in which the child is given initiation of education.

The Wargal Saraswati temple has a Veda Patashala on its premises where students learn the Vedas. It is a commonly held belief among the locals that Moola Nakshatram, birth star of goddess Saraswati, is the most auspicious day for worshipping Saraswati Devi. Special rituals are performed during this day at the temple. If you are planning a trip, time it accordingly.
